The ABS converter must be mounted in a suitable
location. The converter is water-proof and mounted in
the carrier. It must be mounted near the original 24 V
ABS trailer socket in order for the cable to reach the
box. The carrier must be mounted in a way so that the
hinges of the box lid are on top. If the converter is
not connected to the trailer, the socket must be
inserted into the parking socket in order to prevent
contamination. The converter is ready-for-use and has
been installed in a stainless steel rack including
parking socket. Suitable for installation on trailers
only. Pins 6 and 7 (CAN bus) are unused. The converter
can only be used on the trailer side. It will have no
effect if used on the towing vehicle.
